Dec 03, 2007· I've just started surface grinding, but I bought a single point diamond dresser and sunk it into a block of steel at a 15^ angle, and i works great for my 7"x1/2" wheels. I got a 1/3rd carat dresser as it is the size that is recommended for 7" wheels in McMaster. I'm sure that the size matters somehow, but I sure can't figure it out.
